Additionally, creating lists that link to other blogs can be a good way to boost traffic because bloggers tend to share links that mention their blog.
For example, linking to 20 blogs in one post creates the opportunity for that one post to be shared by 20 people who have their own audiences. These audiences will most likely continue the viral effect by sharing it with their friends, family, or maybe even on their own blog. Therefore creating a list is not only a good way to beat writers block, but it’s also a good way to drum up some publicity for a blog.

Conducting an interview takes the pressure of a blogger to come up with new ideas. Once a subject is found, all that’s required is asking a few questions and the subject will do the rest.
Like making a list, interviewing is also a good way to generate traffic. People love to share when they’ve been featured, so if the interviewee has their own website, it’s most likely that the blogger interviewing them will at least get a backlink. Backlinks are important to building search engine visibility and the more visible a blog is to the search engines, the more traffic they will receive.

Reading the news helps get the idea generation process flowing. Bloggers can search for news stories in their particular niche, or they can seek to apply general news stories to their audience.
News stories can be reported with the bloggers commentary added, or the news story may spark a new idea that is unrelated.

People most often search the web looking for answers to their problems. Bloggers can stay one step ahead by answering questions in their niche. If coming up with questions is a struggle, bloggers can visit niche forums to see what types of questions people are asking. Then the next step would be for the blogger to answer the question in their own words.
Give an Opinion
Everyone has an opinion on something. Blog posts that express opinions on hot topics make quite the interesting read. Opinion based posts also take the pressure off of bloggers to spend hours researching a subject.
Writers block doesn’t have to be a part of a bloggers vocabulary. By using a bit of creativity mixed with everyday life, a long list of blog topics should be easy to obtain.
